Our Story
About The Florida Moving Guide
Helping people find their place in the Sunshine State.
Our Story
Moving to Florida should feel exciting — not overwhelming.
The Florida Moving Guide was created to help simplify the relocation process with trusted local insights, city guides, expert connections, and moving resources designed to help you feel confident every step of the way.
I moved to Florida from Maine over 15 years ago, so I know firsthand how exciting — and overwhelming — a big move can be. From choosing the right city or neighborhood to understanding the home buying process, there are a lot of decisions to make along the way.
Now, as a licensed real estate professional in Florida, I've helped others make that same transition with more clarity, confidence, and support.
Because the difference between a stressful move and a seamless one often comes down to three things:
- Having the right information.
- Working with the right people.
- Making decisions with confidence.
That's exactly what The Florida Moving Guide was built to provide.
Our Mission
The Florida Moving Guide was created with a simple mission: to make relocating to Florida easier, more informed, and less stressful. We know that moving to a new state is one of the biggest decisions a person or family can make — and that the quality of information available can make all the difference.
We built this platform to be the resource we wished existed when we were researching our own Florida moves — a comprehensive, honest, and practical guide that covers everything from comparing cities and understanding costs to finding a trusted local agent and planning the logistics of your move.
Whether you're a family relocating for a job, a retiree seeking the perfect coastal community, a remote worker chasing sunshine, or an investor exploring Florida's dynamic real estate market — we're here to help you make a confident, well-informed decision.
